About Across Nations Pioneers
Across Nations Pioneers Inc. is a Federally Chartered Certified Development Company ("CDC") and non-profit corporation that provides support to the local community's economic development through financial support to development projects via various types of governmental loans, grants, and educational programs. Examples of such programs include the United States Small Business Administration ("SBA") 504 Loan Program, the SBA 7a Loan Program, the United States Department Agriculture ("USDA") Loan Program, the Department of Defense ("DOD") Loan Program, as well as many other federally based programs.
Of these, the most commonly serviced loan is the SBA 504 Loan. The purpose of the 504 program, as authorized by Congress through the SBA, is to operate as an economic development program offering a financing package that stimulates private sector investment in long-term fixed assets to increase productivity, create new jobs, and increase the local tax base. The stimulus for such growth is provided by making long-term, low down payment, reasonably priced fixed-rate financing to healthy and expanding businesses which have the highest probability of successfully creating new jobs and competing in the world marketplace.
The Across Nations Pioneers, Inc. corporate structure is comprised of its Board Membership and Operating Professional Staff.
The Board consists of 26 members who actively support economic development in their designated area of operations. Members represent (i) government organizations; (ii) financial institutions (lenders); (iii) community organizations, such as chambers of commerce, foundations, trade associations, colleges, universities, and/or small business development centers; and (iv) local businesses within the area of operation.
Board members include: the Chairman of the Board and CEO Hyun D. Kim, Governmental Board Director Richard Weisglas, Financial Board Director Robert Sammis, Community Board Director HwangGu Jeon and Business Board Director Michael Kelly.
The Operating Professional Staff includes: General Counsel Michael Berliner J.D., Chief Accounting Officer Angela Huh C.P.A., Chief Operating Officer Andras Kron, and Chief Administrative Officer Won Hyuk Chung.
